Art Teacher, Julie Thompson, is returning to share another series of five art sessions!  

This time, there will be one session (Feb 17) when the children will be able to bring their parents too!

SESSION 1 & 2

Saturday February 3rd and 10th for children grades 1 - 3.

Time: 1 - 3 pm
Cost: $ 30 per child (includes both classes.)

Focus for Feb 3: Mixed media — birds and birdhouses
Focus for Feb 10: Cut paper collage forest & fishy scenes

SESSION 3

Saturday February 17th
(Family Day in BC) class for children together with parents, grandparents and extended family members!

This class will be a special “intergenerational” art experience!

Open to: parents, grandparents or extended family and children aged 8-12yrs.

Come for a unique opportunity to provide adults and children with time together to create artwork while building relationships.

Teacher Julie will introduce some of the work of the famous Group of 7 artists as well as Emily Carr as inspiration for painting with acrylics.  She will also provide guidance and techniques to create landscapes and trees on small and mini-canvases.

No experience is necessary - just bring an open mind and an apron or paining shirt.  Come to enjoy getting to know a younger or older person and learning more to appreciate and make art!

(*Limited to 12 adults and 12 children so register soon!*)

March 2 focus: charcoal, pastels and acrylics

March 9 focus: cut paper collage & sharpies on foil, decoupage on wood
