MONDAYS

  • Reading Group
    Facilitator: Joey Hsieh
    Content: Reading short and meaningful texts such as famous speeches, short essays, and selected passages from books
    English competence level: All welcome
    Period: April 13th to June 15th
    

• 11:00 am-12:15 pm (at the church)

  • Parenting Forums
    Facilitator: Joey Hsieh
    Content: a supportive space where parents come together to learn and grow with one another. Each gathering begins with a short 10-15 minute teaching on practical parenting skills, followed by open discussion. Q&A, and freestyle conversation.
    Language: English & Mandarin
    Period: April 13th to June 15th

  • The Joy Group
    Facilitators: Loretta Huang & Mabel Chau
    Content: Sharing and free conversation on various topics; a study of Bible characters (Old Testament); relating to Biblical truth to everyday living.
    English competence level: All welcome
    Period: April 13th to June 15th
    

TUESDAYS

• 9:15-10:30 am (at the church)
  • Everyday Conversation Group
    Facilitators: Lorraine Geddes, Tilly Kwong and Rachel Lee
    Content: Discussing general topics from everyday life activities, or any other topics determined by the participants.
    Participant Limit: 15 participants.
    English competence level: All welcome
    Period: May 5th to June 16th

  • Topical Discussion Group
    Facilitators: Myrnal and Dave Hawes
    Content: Having a series of topics to discuss, varing from 1-3 sessions. Covering topics of interest such as common slang terms and idioms, pronunciation, science and religion, parenting, the importance of Self-Awareness, etc.
    English competence level: Intermediate
    Period: April 7th to June 16th

  • Everything Relational Group
    Facilitators: Joey Hsieh
    Content: Exploring how our Enneagram types show up in our relationships, actively practicing communication tools to make requests and repair conflicts, and reflecting on how our family, culture, and life experiences have shaped our relational patterns.
    Participant Limit: 12 participants.
    English competence level: Advanced
    Period: April 7th to June 16th

THURSDAYS

• 10:00 am-12:00 noon (at the church)
  • Spiritual Healing Group
    Facilitator: Joey Hsieh
    Content: For those committed to inner transformation through practices like prayer, meditation, readings, paired sharing, journaling, and other exercises. It is a spiritual journey to connect with our most inner woundings and surrender to God.
    Participant Limit: 6 participants.
    English competence level: Advanced
    Period: April 9th to June 18th

  • Mandarin Bible Discussion Group
    Facilitator: Joey Hsieh
    Content: Exploring selected Bible passages or short books, such as Philimon, through thoughtful and lively discussion. Together, we seek to understand Biblical principles and reflect on how they apply to our real-life situations.
