Psalms and Mental Health (2025)
New Summer Sermon Series: Psalms & Mental Health
June 29 – August 31
This summer, we invite you to join us for a special sermon series titled “Psalms & Mental Health.” From June 29 through the end of August, we’ll be spending time in the Psalms—these ancient, Spirit-breathed prayers that speak to the full range of human experience.
Each week, we’ll explore how the Psalms give voice to our deepest emotions: joy and sorrow, fear and hope, doubt and trust. We believe that in a time when many are wrestling with stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional fatigue, the Psalms can be a wellspring of honesty, healing, and renewed perspective.
Our prayer is that this series will be more than just meaningful—it will be life-giving. We hope it opens up conversations, brings comfort and courage, and reminds us that God meets us not only in strength, but also in weakness.
Let’s journey through this summer with open hearts and minds, allowing the Psalms to speak into the mental, emotional, and spiritual health of our lives—and the life of our church community.
We look forward to seeing you each Sunday.
